The role involves traveling 50–75% for larger projects, with responsibilities including fieldwork, reporting, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History or closely related field
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
• Willingness to work under varied weather conditions
• Familiar with field study design and documentation, regulatory framework for cultural resource management, and GIS utilities
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture

Responsibilities

• Perform site testing and analyses on archaeological resources, historic structures, tribal resources, and excavations
• Provide technical expertise to develop design options or recommendations and assist in service deliverable documents
• Perform routine scientists assignments applying standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables
• Work independently on small projects or assist senior scientists on larger projects
• Provide direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
• Perform other duties as needed
