Job summary

Atlas Field Services is seeking candidates for a field-based vegetation management planning role located in Delaware and New Jersey. The position involves outdoor work, driving a company vehicle, and coordinating with utility stakeholders to plan and audit projects to specification.

The role requires field assessments, GIS updates, and post-work audits, with a strong emphasis on safety. ISA certification is required for mid- and senior-level roles, with TRAQ preferred for all positions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-7 years of relevant experience in vegetation management, vegetation planning, or utility field work.
• ISA Certification required for mid- to senior-level roles; TRAQ certification preferred for all roles; ISA Certification preferred for entry-level or junior roles (Must be eligible for certification within 1-2 years).

Responsibilities

• Conduct field assessments and develop trimming/removal plans.
• Collaborate with utility stakeholders on work prioritization.
• Update and maintain GIS/work management systems.
• Conduct post-work audits.
• Track discrepancies and noncompliance trends.
• Interface and monitor crews.
• Responsible for or participate in interruption investigations.
