Sika Corporation is seeking a Field Technician for site support of Sika products, with a focus on contractors and field personnel to meet project specifications. This role emphasizes product training, mockups, and on-site problem solving in a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities include site visits, reporting, and collaboration with project teams to ensure proper installation and documentation across multiple business units. Some travel is required.

Qualificações

• College degree preferred (BS Engineering or Technical field).
• 3 to 5 years minimum experience in construction.
• Must have excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• AutoCAD capability re: the creation of / editing of Construction Details.
• Ability to work ‘hands-on’ with Sika products.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Director, Product Engineering in all aspects of administration.
• Support the VP, Technical Services & Product Engineering with special projects as required.
• Assist the Manager, Product Approvals & Certifications in obtaining product approvals (i.e. new product submissions; renewals/recertifications).
• Jobsite visits as required (daytime/overnight/occasional weekends, holidays).
• Work with local Project Representatives to manage site mockups as required.
• Determine best methods to support contractors on site using and installing our products.
• Troubleshoot and investigate reported problems in the field as required.
• Periodic inspections to ensure proper installation.
• Participate in site meetings with the applicator, Sika Project Rep, the consultant, and others.
• Provide written reports with photographs documenting site visits.
• Assist in building an industry-leading training program to raise the quality of work.
