Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to lead technical engagement with Americas Broad Market customers and accelerate design-in of power, analog, and mixed-signal solutions across industrial, automotive, and energy segments. The role partners with Sales, BU, and Marketing to drive solution selling and funnel growth.

The engineer will own design-win opportunities, craft solution positioning, and mentor teams through presentations, demos, and workshops.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in applications engineering, FAE, or system design.
Proven ability to support customer-facing technical engagements and design cycles.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams.

Responsibilities

Own customer technical engagement to drive demand creation and revenue growth.
Lead technical solution positioning aligned to focus segments and campaigns.
Serve as trusted advisor to customer engineering teams through presentations, demos, workshops, and hands-on engagement.
Collaborate with FSE, Sales, BU, and Marketing to align strategy and initiatives.
Drive design-win creation and funnel expansion through qualification and pipeline management.
Provide voice-of-customer insights to influence product roadmap and NPI.
