As a metrology application engineer, you will play a key role in identifying and meeting each customer’s metrology needs.

What you’re going to do?

  1. Identify our customer’s metrology needs, working closely with marketing and sales colleagues and attending meetings with customers.
  2. Demonstrate the capabilities of our products, perform measurements on customer wafers, and analyze the data generated.
  3. Report and present findings to customers, showcasing the unique potential of our systems.
  4. Create measurement recipes in the customer fab, conduct tests to ensure specifications are met, and train customer engineers and operators.
  5. Lead investigations into measurement and data processing issues, collaborating with Sales & Marketing, Customer Support, and Development & Engineering colleagues to drive timely issue resolution.
  6. Work closely with Development & Engineering and R&D to develop new measurement modes and metrology solutions, data processing algorithms, and improve user-friendliness and product performance.
  7. Demonstrate a customer-oriented attitude while performing the above responsibilities.

Who you’ll be working with

  5. A diverse and inclusive culture with people from over thirty countries.
  6. An open and transparent working environment that empowers you to take initiative.
  7. A community that loves working at our high-tech facilities.
  8. A fun place to be.

Who you are

  2. Experience in collaborating directly with customers, preferably in semiconductor foundry environments.
  3. A keen interest in atomic force microscopy, with a quick learning ability to bridge knowledge gaps.
  4. A PhD or MSc in Physics, Mechatronics, Material Engineering, or a relevant subject.
  5. A good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing.
  6. Experience in coding with MATLAB, Python, or other relevant languages for data analysis and visualization.
