Job summary

Avnet in the United States seeks a senior technical sales professional to drive the design chain value proposition and generate the greatest number of design wins for customers in product design. You will interface with engineering teams at customers and suppliers, performing pre/post sales, research, design and development activities.

Responsibilities include developing market strategies, identifying key decision makers, and collaborating with design and production teams to deliver technically

Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 8+ years with bachelor’s or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet switching, networking, and supplier MCU products.
• Experience driving design-in projects and technical sales in complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical sales strategies to win design opportunities.
• Identify key technical decision makers and influencers in each account.
• Cultivate relationships with customers and suppliers to drive design activity and sales growth.
• Lead design reviews and provide design-in support across engineering teams.
• Create technical presentations and tools to position Avnet as a trusted advisor.
• Manage product lifecycles from concept to production with cross-functional teams.
