The role combines deep bench skills, customer-facing communication, solution integration, and structured feedback to engineering and product management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, installations, training, and production ramp support for MLTP products.
- Translate customer devices, standards, test coverage, throughput, automation, and correlation needs into practical system configurations and test methods.
- Develop application notes, scripts, reference setups, test plans, troubleshooting guides, and reusable demonstrations.
- Debug customer issues across instruments, fixtures, DUTs, software, firmware, networks, and automation environments; drive clear ownership and closure.
- Coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Service, and Quality on opportunities, escalations, enhancement requests, and field learnings.
- Support pre-sales solution definition and estimates for configuration, integration, engineering effort, risk, and acceptance criteria.
- Capture competitive observations and voice-of-customer input while protecting confidential information.
- Travel to customer and partner sites as needed, including occasional international travel, and provide remote support across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Photonics, or related technical field.
- 2+ years in applications engineering, systems engineering, test engineering, or customer-facing product support.
