About The Role

Siemens EDA, a global leader in semiconductor design software, is seeking a customer-focused Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support its PowerPro platform for RTL and gate-level power analysis and optimization. You will work closely with leading semiconductor customers to drive successful evaluations, deployments, and adoption of PowerPro, while collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to define and execute technical strategies aligned to customer needs.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and workshops.
• Lead evaluations and proof-of-concepts to drive business wins.
• Support deployment and adoption of PowerPro across customer teams.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including debugging and training.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to influence product enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong RTL design experience (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL).
• Knowledge of digital design, synthesis, and verification flows.
• Experience with RTL power analysis and optimization methodologies.
• Scripting skills (Tcl, Python).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• BS/MS in EE, CS, or related field.

Preferred

• Experience with power tools (e.g., PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar).
• Knowledge of low-power methodologies (UPF/CPF).
• Customer-facing experience (FAE/AE).
• Exposure to advanced SoC designs and nodes.
• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI APIs, or agent frameworks) to improve productivity and debug efficiency.

Additional Information

• Hybrid role with up to 20% travel may be required.

Compensation: $146,700 to $293,400 plus 20% bonus.
