Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor in Chicago is seeking a Field Application Engineer to enable customers to use Nordic technology across embedded systems and IoT projects. You will be a key technical resource for our customers and internal teams, presenting value propositions and driving design-ins.

The role requires hands-on experience with ARM MCUs, wireless protocols, and cloud integrations, plus strong English communication and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Minimum 4 years of embedded software development experience with an understanding of embedded hardware including digital and analog circuits.
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers.
• Minimum 2 years of successfully supporting customer product development.
• Experience with wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, and cellular technologies.
• Experience working with software to interface IoT devices with cloud software services such as AWS and Azure.
