Actalent is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support deployment, qualification, and production ramp of advanced ion beam deposition systems in high-volume manufacturing. You will serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of thin film deposition technologies.
The role requires 5+ years in field applications, a relevant engineering degree, and strong data analysis and communication skills.
The Field Application Engineer supports the deployment, qualification, optimization, and production ramp of advanced ion beam deposition systems in high-volume manufacturing environments. This role serves as a key technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of thin film deposition technologies. The engineer collaborates closely with customers and cross-functional teams to execute process best-known methods, drive system qualifications, and provide hands‑on technical support throughout the product lifecycle. The position combines process engineering expertise, customer-facing communication, and practical problem-solving to help customers achieve production readiness and operational excellence.
This is a Permanent position based out of Sugar Land, TX.
The pay range for this position is $94000.00 - $126000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
