Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Field Equipment Service Specialist to manage accounts within the assigned geographic area and ensure proper functioning of commercial equipment. You will install and test equipment, assist customers and sales staff, and travel to client sites to resolve issues with professionalism.

The role emphasizes face-to-face customer service, training accounts, and collaboration with vendors and company personnel, with Monday–Friday hours, a company van, and on-call pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 6 - 12 months equipment sales and / or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts in geographical area and provide assistance and training to such accounts.
• Maintain proper functioning of various commercial equipment.
• Install and test various equipment.
• Assist customers and sales people determine best equipment or products for application.
• Provide face-to-face customer service in various situations.
• Drive to customer sites to assist in correcting problems.
• Prepare schedules for service or installation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
