Job summary

Reeder Distributors, Inc. in Spring, Texas is seeking a reliable Air Compressor Technician to join our Equipment Service team.

You will service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain air compressor systems at automotive dealership locations, and support repair of lifts and fluid distribution equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, solid problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently in the field while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment.
• Experience with air compressors, automotive equipment, or industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify issues independently.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain air compressor systems at automotive dealership locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on compressed air systems.
• Service and repair additional shop equipment, including vehicle lifts and fluid distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and minor electrical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service while performing work at customer locations.
• Maintain accurate service records and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
