Job summary

New Century FS is seeking a field-based Agronomy Inspector to perform regular crop field inspections, monitor health, and provide reports to customers. You will drive between sites and collaborate with the agronomy team to ensure high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have basic knowledge of production agriculture, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work in all weather, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to travel independently as needed.
• Ability to lift 51–70 pounds and walk fields.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on agronomy field experience.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance.
• Drive to designated field locations.
• Inspect fields using IPM and GPS to identify threats.
• Document findings and prepare inspection reports.
• Discuss results with agronomy specialist and customers.
• Attend technical training sessions.
• Support additional agricultural retail duties as time allows.
