SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking an Agronomic Specialist to provide expert agronomic guidance and product recommendations to customers across diverse landscapes and golf courses. You will partner with account managers and field teams to deliver data-driven solutions and strong service delivery.

The role emphasizes agronomy consulting, field visits, soil and tissue analysis interpretation, and staying current with industry research and technologies.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years in agronomy, horticulture, turfgrass, crop consulting, landscape management, agricultural sales support or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Horticulture, Plant Science, Soil Science, Turfgrass Management or related field (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise on fertilizers, soil health, turf management, pest management, and irrigation practices.
• Conduct field visits to evaluate plant, turf, and soil conditions and develop corrective action plans.
• Interpret soil tests, tissue analyses, and water quality reports to make actionable recommendations.
• Diagnose plant health issues including nutrient deficiencies, diseases, insects, environmental stresses, and cultural challenges.
• Develop agronomic programs tailored to customer needs and environments.
• Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities and provide technical support during the sales process.
• Deliver demonstrations, field trials, and programs that support customer adoption.
• Educate customers and internal teams on best practices, product innovations, and industry trends.
• Stay current on industry research and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with branch teams and leadership to support growth initiatives.
