Job summary

Path Placement Recruiting Services seeks a Restoration Project Manager, leveraging your Field Property Claims Adjusting experience to oversee restoration projects from scope to completion. Restoration Project Manager -

(Experienced Field Property Claims Adjuster)

Ready to use your Field Property Claims Adjusting experience from the other side of the restoration process?

If you have spent your career inspecting residential or commercial property losses, evaluating damage and scopes, working with insureds and restoration contractors, and managing claims through the adjustment process, you already have much of the industry knowledge needed for this position.

In this role, you'll move from adjusting the loss to managing a specialized portion of the restoration project. You'll use your existing knowledge of property claims, fire losses, scopes, restoration practices, and carrier expectations while we train you on our technology, application processes, project procedures, and operational requirements.

Previous experience as a Restoration Project Manager is not required for candidates with strong Field Property Claims Adjusting experience.

We are a leading restoration company specializing in advanced fire restoration technology for rapid and permanent odor removal from insurance losses throughout North America.

Our process allows losses to proceed and conclude more rapidly by removing the odor component from the loss, saving time and money for both the insurance carrier and the insured.

We currently work directly for more than 100 of the nation's leading insurance carriers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Many of these carriers now mandate our use as a time- and cost-saving technology. We also work with restoration contractors as a subcontractor when tasked.

In addition to insurance losses, we serve non-insurance markets including multifamily housing and residential and commercial real estate.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Established contacts within the insurance industry in the Michigan market.
• Ability and willingness to network with adjusters and other industry professionals and help develop business from those relationships.
• Experience with CRM software; Salesforce experience is preferred.

Field, Travel & Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on, field-based project management position. Candidates should be comfortable with the operational and physical aspects of restoration project work.

• Must reside in or relocate to Michigan within or near the Detroit-Ann Arbor-Flint-Warren metropolitan area.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks as needed, including repeatedly lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Some projects may require climbing ladders and accessing confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces to oversee project activities.
• Must be able to pass an annual quantitative respirator fit test and wear and work in a full-face respirator when required.
• Must obtain and maintain a DOT non-CDL Driver Physical.
• Must be comfortable operating and maintaining a service van for residential and small commercial losses.
• Must be able to operate a box truck as needed to transport equipment locally and regionally for large-loss projects.
• Must undergo background and driving-record checks before employment and annually thereafter.
• Overnight travel is required for regional projects and some Michigan losses as needed.
• Initial travel to several U.S. locations is required for company training.

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000 Base Salary + Profit-Based Performance Bonus | Target Total Annual Compensation Up to $120,000
• Initial startup bonus based on profits from the first 24 projects.
• Following the initial startup period, an ongoing quarterly bonus is provided as a percentage of profits from prior quarters.
• Two weeks of Paid Time Off during years 1 and 2.
• Three weeks of Paid Time Off beginning in year 3 and thereafter.
