Job Summary

Drive profitable sales growth by prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and expanding opportunities with current customers in core and emerging industries and markets to meet yearly sales goals. This position requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle, with operation occurring more than 20% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is a requirement for this position, and the company will conduct a report upon selection.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers across all organizational levels, ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Manage sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting and acquiring new customers to diversify the customer base.
  • Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
  • Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels to foster strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs, providing input for effective sales strategies.
  • Attend monthly business meetings, engage in local trade shows, and represent the organization in regional or national activities as needed.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrate skill in data analysis by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies in complex research/data.
  • Work with increasing independence, receiving guidance only on unusual or complex problems. Work is typically reviewed periodically by a supervisor or direct customers.
  • May provide guidance or training to junior support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor setting. Unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most work involves sitting with frequent opportunities to move; occasional lifting of light articles may be required.
  • Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline with 2-5 years of experience, or an MS/MA with 2-4 years of experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

$64,200.00-$93,200.00 Annual
