Sartorius is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Strategic Field Account Manager based remotely in Massachusetts to support a strategic account focused on bioprocessing solutions. The person in this role will make an impact, driving sales results and developing strong customer relationships within the defined territory. You will play a crucial role in promoting our bioprocessing solutions and services, identifying new business opportunities, and actively using our CRM system (SFDC) to manage sales activities and customer interactions effectively.

As the Field Account Manager - Strategic Accounts for bioprocessing solutions, you will be responsible for all sales results of mid-size and large accounts in a defined territory and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base. An essential part of this role is the active use of our CRM system (SFDC) to manage sales activities and customer interactions effectively as this tool is the foundation of our sales framework and operational sales steering, and a key enabler for this role to achieve his/her targets as well as Sartorius targets.

What You Will Accomplish Together With Us

  • Promote Sartorius bioprocessing products and services within a key account to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with Sartorius' overall market and growth strategy.
  • Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurately entered.
  • Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate insights, and track sales performance.
  • Drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on successful sales activity implementation.
  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Develop and implement account plans, coordinating resources in line with these plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance market perception and develop successful strategies to gain business from accounts.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the assigned territory.
  • Frequently assess the potential of the customer and plan to execute into a business opportunity.
  • Manage and build strong customer relationships for long-term partnerships.

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field (master’s degree beneficial).
  • 3+ years of field sales experience promoting bioprocessing products and services.
