Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Account Manager Relief to sell and order product for customer accounts and to rotate company product by date in market and inventory. The role also supports merchandising by stocking and updating POS displays at accounts.

The position requires travel to local accounts, strong customer service, and basic computer skills. A flexible schedule and use of a personal vehicle with reimbursement are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of work experience required.
• Customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets preferred.
• Basic computer application and technology skills required.
• Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
• Must use personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement and proof of business-use insurance at time of hire.
• Must be open to a flexible schedule; may work some holidays to meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Orders product at accounts on an assigned sales route and processes orders.
• Execute and sell big event marketing, pillar programming, innovation, and mandated features to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Builds, changes, and removes product displays and POS; ensure proper pricing and clean spaces.
• Communicate account activities with customers to ensure quality and timely service; collaborate with merchandisers and drivers.
• Ensure merchandising standards; stock and merchandise the beverage section including displays.
