Field Account Manager - North and West Africa (F/M) - Home Office France

The Field Account Manager will be responsible for all sales results of accounts located mainly in North Africa (with possible interaction with West Africa) and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base. An essential part of this role is the active use of our CRM system (SFDC) to manage sales activities and customer interactions effectively, as this tool is the foundation of our sales framework and operational sales steering, and a key enabler for achieving targets.

  • Promote the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
  • Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurately entered.
  • Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate insights, and track sales performance.
  • Drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and follow up on successful sales activities.
  • Assess customer needs, generate leads, respond to inquiries, and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Develop and implement account plans, coordinating resources accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategies that increase market perception and business from accounts.
  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the territory.
  • Assess each customer's potential and plan to convert it into business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors for long-term partnerships.
  • Support customers and distributors on technical topics.
What will convince us:
  • Academic degree (Master's or higher) in life sciences or biotech engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in pharma or biotech processes.
  • Experience in distributor management is a plus.
  • Proactive use of SFDC and other CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Cultural awareness.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
