Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking an Account Manager in Sales to grow the customer base within a defined territory by visiting and calling on customers, prospects and leads. You will receive, process, and record orders with support from teams handling ordering, delivery and billing.

The role requires travel, strong MS Office skills, and a proven consultative sales background with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
• Ability to travel minimum of 5 days a quarter
• 3–5 years of consultative sales related experience
• Must have ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at a high level
• Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
• Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate confidently, clearly, and effectively in front of groups
• Inbound/Outbound phone work: requires sit/hand use and vision/hearing
• Customer visits, travel, trade shows: standing/walking and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outside sales visits and process outbound calls to market product sales; identify needs and opportunities; and find solutions for customers
• Prospect, lead generation, follow-up, expand territory by growing contracts in other departments
• Receive customers' calls, faxes and emails and provide quotes and information about products & services; process concerns and enter orders
• Attend trade shows and set up booth and markets products
• Train new employees in processing customer accounts as needed
• Open accounts for customers by creating new records in database
• Track the disposition of customer deliveries
• Cross sell and up-sell to all customers
• Provide customers with samples, promotional products or evaluation orders and follow-up to close sale
• Mentor to other employees and ensure department success
