Job summary

Therapy Smarts, Inc. seeks a Part-Time ABAT/RBT to provide 1:1 pediatric ABA therapy across schools, daycares, and Head Start programs in Chapel Hill, NC. You will work with young learners in natural settings and collaborate with BCBA/QBA supervisors to promote meaningful skill growth.

The role emphasizes data collection, treatment plan adherence, and strong communication with families and school staff. Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with pediatric ABA methods and data collection.
• RBT/ABAT certification or eligibility preferred.
• Ability to work 1:1 with children in school and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA services to children with ASD in schools, daycares, and Head Start.
• Follow treatment plans and guidance from BCBA/QBA supervisors.
• Maintain accurate progress data and documentation for medical necessity of services.
• Participate in supervision sessions and implement feedback.
• Organize learning materials and visual schedules for community sessions.
• Communicate with classroom staff, daycare providers, and families to ensure consistency.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 pediatric ABA therapy services to clients in vibrant community settings, including local schools, daycares, and Head Start programs. In this field-based role, you will work directly with young learners in their natural educational and social environments, collaborating with educators and supervising BCBAs/QBAs to foster meaningful behavioral growth and skill development.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide 1:1 services to children with a diagnosis of ASD in a community setting.
• Implement interventions and procedures outlined in treatment and behavior plans as designed by the BCBA/QBA.
• Maintain accurate and thorough data collection to track progress and support the medical necessity of intensive services.
• Participate in supervision sessions with the BCBA/QBA.
• Assist in organizing learning materials, visual schedules, and reinforcement items needed for community/school sessions.
• Maintain professional communication with onsite educational staff, daycare providers, and parents to support consistency and home/school carryover.
• Spanish language skills are a plus!
