Job summary

Metro Aviation, Inc. seeks an experienced A&P Field-Based Aviation Maintenance Technician (B407) in Texarkana, Arkansas for the LifeNet Program. The role focuses on maintaining aircraft safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness in coordination with the Lead AMT and base crew.

Applicants should hold FAA A&P and have strong knowledge of FARs, manuals, and aircraft systems; turbine rotorcraft experience is a plus. Full-time position with competitive benefits and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA A&P certificate.
• Experience with turbine rotorcraft preferred.
• Familiarity with FARs and maintenance manuals required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with pilots and crew.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft in safe, airworthy condition per regs and Metro policy.
• Coordinate maintenance schedule with Lead AMT and base teams.
• Inspect, modify, maintain, and repair airframes, rotors, engines, and components.
• Liaise with pilots/crews on aircraft condition upon arrival.
