Job summary

Expert Technology Services in Westlake, TX seeks an experienced QA automation architect to lead or contribute to building a new, unified automation platform from scratch.

You will work with Java, TypeScript, Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, REST/SOAP, Jenkins, and GitHub Copilot to deliver a scalable end-to-end testing engine supporting 13+ modernization teams, covering UI and API tests, with strong emphasis on CI/CD and cross-team collaboration.

Job description

Job Summary (List Format):

• - Lead or contribute (Lead/Senior/Mid-level) to the architecture and construction of a new, unified QA automation platform from scratch.
• - Utilize core technologies: Java, TypeScript, Playwright, Cucumber (BDD), Selenium, REST & SOAP APIs, Jenkins (CI/CD), and GitHub Copilot.
• - Build a scalable End-to-End (E2E) automation engine to support 13+ modernization teams, covering both UI and API automation.
• - Establish and implement modern CI/CD practices with Jenkins and AI-assisted development using GitHub Copilot.
• - Automate trade and order management workflows, including creation, modification, cancellation, execution, post-trade processing, and regulatory reporting.
• - Validate institutional order management system (OMS) rules and downstream integrations with clearing/settlement and regulatory platforms.
• - Design and execute automated API-driven tests (REST/SOAP) to validate workflows using Director pattern architectures.
• - Perform cross-platform state comparison and data validation between legacy systems (Mainframe/DB2 via SOAP) and modern cloud/microservice platforms.
• - Enhance and maintain test reporting dashboards to provide visibility into test coverage, execution stability, and regression metrics for all functional trading areas.
• - Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure unified automation standards and effective delivery across the organization.
