Overview

VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Fiberglass Technician for a leading organization in Rio Rancho, NM. This is a Full Time Temp to hire Opportunity. Schedule is Mon-Friday 7am-3:30 pm. Pay is $16-$18 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform fiberglass and composite repairs on aircraft components to ensure structural integrity.
• Apply wet lay-up techniques using epoxy resins and fiberglass or carbon cloth.
• Utilize tooling and fixtures to facilitate accurate and effective repairs.
• Assist with pre-preg, vacuum bagging, and spray painting tasks as needed.
• Ensure all repairs meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Entry to mid-level composite technician with experience using fiberglass or carbon fiber materials.
• Experience with wet layups and freehand composite repairs required.
• Ability to use hand tools for cutting, grinding, and fitting composite parts for assembly.
• Aviation experience preferred, but marine, automotive, or manufacturing composite experience acceptable.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to support composite assembly and repair work.
