Accelera in Vanceburg, KY is seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our on-site team. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $14.00 per hour with the potential for permanent placement and requires the ability to perform manual labor in a fiberglass production environment.

Core duties include cutting, shaping, refining, inspecting items, operating machinery and hand tools, preparing resins and gel coats, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is beneficial; training provided.
• Ability to read and follow written directions and safety rules.
• Basic math skills for measurements and counting.
• Strong manual dexterity and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and stay active for long shifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfort with environments that include dust, fumes or variable temperatures.
• Willingness to wear safety gear such as gloves and respirators.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, refine, and inspect items to support production.
• Perform molding, lamination, trimming, and layup tasks.
• Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Prepare resins, gel coats, and related substances per guidelines.
• Verify dimensions and quality to meet standards.
• Follow assembly processes and maintain output quality.
• Label and package finished merchandise for transport or storage.
• Keep workspace tidy, hazard-free, and compliant with safety rules.
• Use protective equipment as required and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues across shifts to ensure smooth workflow.
