Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company is seeking a Fiberglass Pool Laminator for its Jane Lew, WV site. This on-site, full-time position supports the manufacture of fiberglass swimming pools and requires safety-conscious work with PPE, occasional overtime, and adherence to quality standards.

The role involves tasks across gel coat spraying, resin work, and fiberglass layup, with heights up to 10 ft. A background in fiberglass/manufacturing is helpful but not mandatory to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a safe manner utilizing PPE as required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged times as well as frequent bending, reaching, stooping, overhead work and lifting up to forty (40) pounds.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• The duties and responsibilities of this position vary by the station the employee is put on. They range from spraying gel coats and resins to rolling fiberglass and hand laying fiberglass mat and composite reinforcements as well as using razor knives and other sharp instruments to cut materials and other duties as assigned.
• Climbing and working at heights of up to 10 ft. required. May be operating machinery including forklifts.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, full face respirator, gloves, safety shoes, harness and/or protective outerwear are required. Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat and noise is typical.
