Job summary

Hydro Composites LLC in Texas is seeking an experienced individual to join our fabrication team. The role requires woodworking or construction experience, ability to read CAD plans and fabrication drawings, and strong attention to detail to ensure quality results.

The candidate will supervise a small team (3-5 people), operate hand and power tools, and manage safety and workflow on the shop floor while maintaining efficient production standards. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 3–5 employees and coordinate daily tasks.
• Read CAD plans and fabrication drawings to guide production.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts and skid steers as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and workflow standards on the shop floor.
• Support training and continuous improvement initiatives.

We are currently seeking an individual that is able to perform the below listed essential duties satisfactorily. Must have a current Driver’s License and Social Security Card, be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., communicate clearly with team members and stand for 8+ plus hours a day.

• Must have the ability to read and interpret plans and drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a Plus.
• Has the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide and take measurements, use various scale conversions, as well as determine special restrictions.
• Has the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to assess and resolve minor problems.
• Is able to work in various environmental conditions, including various temperatures and varying noise levels.
