Job summary

White Mountain Cable Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Lineman I in Westfield, MA. You’ll join a team installing and maintaining fiber and telecom cables, with emphasis on safety and reliability for customers.

You’ll use hand and power tools, work at heights, and be prepared to travel for storm response. A HS diploma or GED and a valid MA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with legal work authorization in the US.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required; construction telecom exp preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Willingness to travel for storm response on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation of fiber and telecom cables overhead and repair issues.
• Safely use hand and power tools to install and maintain lines.
• Maintain safe work areas to ensure smooth traffic flow on site.
• Work at heights using ladders and climbing hooks as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
