Job summary

Koscom Networks in Michigan is hiring experienced Fiber Technicians to perform FTTH residential installations and service activations. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber internet services while educating customers and ensuring high quality service.

We expect strong customer service, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field, and a valid driver's license. Health insurance, PTO, and growth opportunities are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Previous FTTH or fiber optic installation experience.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• White work truck experience not required but preferred if available.

Pearl Connections is hiring experienced Fiber Technicians to join our growing team. If you have hands‑on experience with FTTH (Fiber to the Home) installations, this is an opportunity to join a professional team delivering high-quality fiber internet installations across Michigan.

We're looking for technicians who take pride in providing excellent customer service, completing quality installations, and helping connect communities through reliable fiber networks.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

Typical hours:

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (schedule may vary)

Weekend work may be required based on business needs

Work Location

Service areas include:

Saginaw, MI

Midland, MI

Bay City, MI

Flint, MI

Travel throughout the assigned service area is required.

Responsibilities

Perform FTTH residential fiber installations and service activations

Install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber internet services

Test fiber connections and verify service quality

Educate customers on installed equipment and services

Complete work orders and service documentation accurately

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

Follow company quality and safety standards

Requirements

Previous FTTH or fiber optic installation experience

Experience troubleshooting fiber internet services

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

White work truck required

Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends

$25–$38 per hour, depending on experience
