Qualifications

• Fiber splicing experience and understanding of fiber network deployments.
• ISP construction or telecom infrastructure experience.
• Experience with GIS platforms (IQGeo preferred, ArcGIS or similar accepted).
• Ability to read and understand telecom network documentation and network layouts.
• Comfortable spending significant time in the field validating construction progress.
• Pluses: Fiber Technician or Fiber Splicer experience.
• Knowledge of fiber placement, conduit installation, and network handoffs.
• Experience supporting large-scale fiber buildouts.

Responsibilities

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Fiber Splicing & ISP Lead for a top telecommunications client. This candidate will support fiber construction and splicing projects by verifying field work, documenting network updates in GIS systems, and ensuring projects are progressing according to plan. The ideal candidate has experience with fiber splicing, OSP construction, or telecom networks and enjoys being both in the field and coordinating with internal teams. This role offers a mix of field oversight and project support, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the telecom industry.

Compensation: $28/hr to $35/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
