Qualifications

• Prior fiber splicing experience required.
• Ability to perform ladder work safely and carry equipment.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle with a trailer.

Responsibilities

• Complete installation, repairs, and testing of fiber.
• Splice loose tube and ribbon fiber in compliance with standards.
• Monitor splicing operations according to specifications.

Skills

Fiber splicing experience

Operational knowledge of OTDR

Ability to work in various terrains

Understanding of splicing technology

Education

Class A CDL preferred
