Travel to surrounding areas is required, with relocation to Wausau, WI before starting. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week and a pay range of $15.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Splice fiber optic cables including both loose and ribbon cables.
• Operate technical equipment including OTDR, power meters, and fusion splicing equipment.
• Must be willing to relocate to Wisconsin (Wausau area) before starting.
• Job Type: Full-time.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic cables and terminate panels.
• Perform splicing and installation of fiber in aerial and underground settings.
• Troubleshoot and maintain to resolve signal issues.
• Operate bucket trucks to access telecommunication lines and transport materials.
• Prepare reports for office administration.
