## Fiber Splicer - Lithonia, GAApply: Lithonia, GA: Full time: Posted Today: JR102597**Job Overview:**Job Responsibilities\\*\\* \\*Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode) in various environments (aerial, underground, and inside plant).\\* Interpret and understand fiber optic network designs, schematics, and splice diagrams.\\* Test fiber optic cables for continuity, loss, and reflectivity using OTDR, power meters, and light sources.\\* Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic cable breaks, damage, and connectivity issues.\\* Install and terminate fiber optic connectors, closures, and distribution panels.\\* Prepare detailed splice reports, test results, and as-built documentation.\\* Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized fiber optic equipment.\\* Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including trenching and confined space protocols.\\* Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.\\* Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.\\* Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs as required.\\* Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working order.
