Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer to join our Concord, NH team. You will splice and upgrade fiber cables both aerially and underground, ensuring reliable network performance and adherence to standards. Valid US work authorization, a driver’s license, and a DOT medical card are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical exam and valid medical card.
• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecommunications.
• Certified pole climber or proficient climber preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work using daily production reports, maps, and material records.
• Other duties as assigned.
