Job summary

Beaverton, United States — Zohorecruit seeks an Outside Plant Engineer to lead engineering design for telecom outside plant in a local serving exchange environment. You will be a subject matter expert on cable sizing, counts, records and permitting for ROWs and easements, collaborating with Planning, Central Office, Transmission and Operations.

The role covers project management for construction activities, permitting, ROW maintenance, and records updates while supporting sales and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years’ experience in an outside plant position.
• Experience in ROW, private easement and permitting with local, state, and federal entities.
• Knowledge of outside plant design, cable counts, capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Engineering design for outside plant projects locally.
• Support Build projects and proactively review facilities for upgrades.
• Coordinate with utilities for joint trench and project design.
• Frontline project management for construction activities.
• Apply for permits and maintain ROW/easement records.
