Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Associate Engineer in Telecom Engineering to design and implement fiber optic networks and related communication systems that support our enterprise and operations. The role focuses on Substation and Fiber/Line projects, crafting detailed design docs and specifications for reliable, compliant infrastructure.

The position is hybrid, with the first three months in office; travel between MA/CT/NH may be required, and the candidate must be prepared for emergency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; requires engineering degree.
• 0-3 years of related experience required.
• Base knowledge in communications multiplexers/systems and network equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer fiber optic networks and telecom systems for Enterprise and Operational communications.
• Develop detailed engineering design documentation and specs for Eversource communications infrastructure.
• Serve as the telecom engineer for Substation and/or Fiber/Line projects; collaborate with other disciplines to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.
