Job summary

ComSonics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician Specialist to diagnose, repair, and improve a wide range of fiber optic equipment. You will use advanced troubleshooting to identify faulty components, correct alignments, perform repairs, and develop equipment modifications as needed.

This role involves sharing knowledge by assisting with training of Fiber Technicians and taking on group lead responsibilities as needed in a cutting-edge fiber optic environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a two-year college required.
• 10+ years of electrical/electronics experience.
• 3+ years of surface mount and fiber optic experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, align, and calibrate fiber optic equipment to specifications.
• Inspect equipment to verify issues, diagnose symptoms, and determine root causes.
• Document estimates, inquiries, parts requests, and customer communications.
