Position Overview:

  • Term: 1+ year
  • Location: Remote (100% travel)
  • Pay: $30.00 - $37.00, commensurate with experience
  • Hours: Standard business hours

As a Field Services Technician, you will be responsible for delivering solutions that build long-term customer relationships, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, and performing quality inspections. Training will be provided to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Adding or removing non-powered equipment hardware
  • Wiring and connections (on non-working equipment and switchboard cable)
  • Verification and continuity testing
  • Analyzing job specifications and drawings
  • Understanding Scope of Work (SOW) and writing Job Change Order (JCO) summaries
  • Providing work assignments and preparing Method of Procedure (MOP)
  • Resolving specification or drawing issues
  • Marking and correcting drawings
  • Conducting quality inspections

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and RealID/Passport for travel
  • At least 25 years old
  • Basic PC and electronic skills, familiarity with hardware and OS
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including driving several hours daily
  • Availability for rotating and weekend shifts
  • Ability to lift tools and equipment up to 75 lbs. alone, 150 lbs. with assistance
  • Physical ability to perform bending, squatting, walking, standing, and manual tasks
  • Willing to obtain various certifications
  • Possession of basic hand tools (screwdrivers, crimpers, pliers, etc.)
