Job summary

TRS International Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Engineer/SME for Fiber Optic Cable Assembly to design and optimize fiber optic cables and manufacturing processes.

You will manage engineering documentation, BOMs, testing, and collaborate with production, R&D, and quality teams to deliver high-quality, compliant assemblies.

Applicants should hold a related degree and have hands-on experience with fiber optics, splicing, testing, and reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of fiber optic principles and testing.
• Experience with fiber optic manufacturing and QC practices.

Responsibilities

• Design fiber optic cable assemblies and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee fiber optic manufacturing and quality control.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and customer specifications for manufacturability.
• Coordinate production, quality, and R&D teams.
• Develop testing procedures including insertion loss and return loss.
