Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Master Scheduler in Missouri to develop, maintain, and optimize the master production schedule for fiber optic cables and related products. You will partner with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Planning, Procurement, and Logistics to align capacity with demand and business goals.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning or master scheduling in a manufacturing setting, strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards), and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in production planning/master scheduling in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rolling Master Production Schedule (MPS) for fiber optic cable and related products.
• Translate customer demand forecasts and sales orders into executable production schedules.
• Balance capacity, labor, equipment constraints, and material supply.
• Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans as priorities change.
• Lead weekly production planning and scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, and Customer Service to review forecasts and requirements.
