Job summary

Pauley Construction is seeking an OSP Engineering Technician in Centennial, CO. You will design outside plant work orders and support field engineering, with duties including drawings, documentation, and coordination with GIS teams.

The role requires familiarity with fiber deployments, permitting, and strong attention to detail. The position offers growth in a regional utility contractor environment and an entry-level path.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of Telecom Outside Plant Engineering experience.
• knowledge of telecom industry standards, practices and regulations for outside plant fiber.

Responsibilities

• Design outside plant work orders.
• Prepare work order drawings and documentation; update records accurately.
• Provide work order estimated expenditures and/or memos for placement and joint use.
• Coordinate with drafting and GIS personnel to produce construction drawings.
• Plan, design and obtain permits for new cable routes.
• May conduct field engineering: site surveys, data collection, and fiber route designs.
