Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking a Telecom/Fiber Optic Designer to design, document, and plan fiber optic and telecommunications network infrastructure.

The role supports both outside plant and inside plant projects, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, standards, budgets, and construction specifications while collaborating with engineers, project managers, utility companies, municipalities, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Fiber optic network design experience.
• OSP/ISP engineering and fiber design exposure.
• Proficiency with GIS and CAD drafting tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design fiber optic and telecom network infrastructure.
• Develop OSP/ISP designs, route plans, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with utilities, municipalities, and construction teams.
• Support design reviews and project documentation.
