Job summary

Buck's Communications, Inc. is hiring Fiber Optic Installation Technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot FTTH services for residential customers in Brunswick County. You’ll be in the field, delivering high-speed internet and representing the team with professionalism.

No previous fiber experience is required—we provide hands-on training and support, with opportunities for long-term career growth in a growing fiber operation in the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Mechanical or technical aptitude and interest in internet/telecom technology.
• Ability to use hand tools, test equipment, and follow technical instructions.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install and service high-speed fiber internet in residential homes.
• Educate customers on their new equipment and services.
• Troubleshoot service issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all seasons and environments.
• Operate independently in the field after training.
