Job summary

You will pull, dress, and splice fiber, ensuring safety and quality in installations. The position offers a pay of $30/hr plus overtime opportunities, with a Mon–Fri schedule and per diem if applicable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in fiber construction/installation.
• Familiarity with fiber cable types and standard installation practices.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, dress, and secure fiber (aerial/underground/inside plant).
• Perform fiber splicing (fusion) and document work completed.
• Maintain jobsite safety, tools, vehicle cleanliness, and material accountability.

Skills

Fiber construction/installation experience

Familiarity with fiber cable types

Attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
