Job summary

viaPhoton is seeking a dependable, hands-on production teammate to assemble, inspect, and test fiber optic components on our growing floor. You’ll follow written instructions, keep quality records, and help ensure on-time shipments to top tech customers.

We offer 2 shifts, competitive pay $17.00–$17.50/hour, plus a $2,000 prepaid card for medical expenses, 401(k) with match, flexible PTO, and 10 paid holidays. No degree required; safety and teamwork matter most.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well with others.
• Good hand-eye coordination and careful attention to detail.
• Able to read and follow written work instructions and diagrams.
• Comfortable using hand tools like wire strippers, pliers, and wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test fiber optic components following step-by-step instructions and parts lists
• Inspect finished products for quality and flag any defects before they ship
• Keep accurate records of quality checks and production activity
• Track work orders and schedules in our production system
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized
