Job summary

GoNetspeed is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to represent our fiber internet in local neighborhoods. This field-based role involves direct door-to-door outreach, helping customers upgrade to fast fiber services while working with a supportive team.

You’ll earn a base salary plus uncapped commissions, with a realistic range of $70,000–$125,000+ annually and generous bonuses. Training is provided; travel locally is required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we fully train you.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers face to face through door to door outreach.
• Sell Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV.
• Knock on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the right plan.
• Stay current on product offerings and competitor options.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and earn commissions.
• Participate in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed.

What You’ll Do (Field-Based – Limited Office Reporting!)

You’ll represent GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods, helping people upgrade to fast, reliable fiber internet. Your day will include:

• Knocking on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities
• Understanding customer needs and recommending the right plan

• Achieving monthly sales goals and earning big on commission
• Participating in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed

What You Bring

Experience is helpful but not required: we fully train you. You’re a great fit if you have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule
• Availability 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours/week
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Skills That Help You Stand Out

• Telecom, broadband, or tech-related sales experience (not required)
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face to face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)
