Job summary

GoNetspeed is seeking an Outside Sales Representative (Door-to-Door) to expand our fiber internet footprint. This field-based role focuses on direct customer engagement, presenting fiber internet, home phone, and streaming TV options in local neighborhoods.

You will operate in a high-activity environment with 50+ daily door interactions, driven by a base salary of $35,000 plus uncapped commissions and a $5,000 signing bonus when goals are met within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Represent GoNetspeed in local neighborhoods through door-to-door outreach.
• Sell Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV plans.
• Knock 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities.
• Assess customer needs and recommend suitable plans.
• Stay informed about product offerings and competitors.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and maximize commission earnings.
• Engage in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed.

What You’ll Do (Field-Based – Limited Office Reporting!)

You’ll represent GoNetspeed directly in local neighborhoods, helping people upgrade to fast, reliable fiber internet. Your day will include:

• Meeting customers face to face through door to door outreach
• Selling Fiber Internet, Home Phone, and Streaming TV
• Knocking on 50+ doors daily in assigned towns/cities
• Understanding customer needs and recommending the right plan
• Staying current on product offerings and competitor options
• Achieving monthly sales goals and earning big on commission
• Participating in occasional community events to promote GoNetspeed

What You Bring

Experience is helpful but not required: we fully train you. You’re a great fit if you have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a full-time schedule
• Availability 10 AM–7 PM, 40 hours/week
• A valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle, and willingness to travel locally

Skills That Help You Stand Out

• Telecom, broadband, or tech-related sales experience (not required)
• Organized approach to managing a sales territory
• Confident face to face communication
• Professional, ethical customer interactions
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions independently

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing/walking/stair climbing (75–100%)
• Occasional kneeling, lifting, pushing/pulling (25–49%)
• Ability to read screens/reports and communicate via phone/email (75–100%)
