Job summary

GridSource in Hale, MI is hiring Fiber Technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet. Candidates must provide their own vehicle with a ladder rack and a 28-foot fiberglass ladder. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Techs ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on each install. Responsibilities include performing residential fiber installations, supporting sales activities, and maintaining a professional appearance when engaging with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential fiber installation.
• Own vehicle with ladder rack and 28' fiberglass ladder.
• Own tools and Android smartphone.
• PPE and safety footwear.
• Flexible hours; weekend work may be required.
• Pass background and drug screening.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift 75+ lbs.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential fiber installation.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Assist other technical personnel when requested.
• Convey a positive and professional appearance to customers.
