Job summary

Meta in the United States (California/Sacramento area) seeks a Network Implementation Engineer - Project Manager to lead fiber and ILA deployments into Meta production environments. Manage North America projects, vendors, budgets, and risk, collaborating with internal teams and legal, finance, and planning groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field; degree completed prior to joining Meta.
• 2+ years of project management experience with telecom/utility construction.
• Experience managing large cross-functional projects with vendor coordination.
• Understanding of ILA and fiber construction milestones.
• Proficiency using spreadsheets and office tools for tracking budgets.

Responsibilities

• Project management of fiber construction and ILA projects across North America via direct and indirect management of partner vendors.
• Coordinate and manage build partners, engineering firms, and project budgets mitigating risk through pre-planning.
• Coordinate and manage ILA production and deployments across North America.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement long-term infrastructure build plans and budget needs.
• Support tracking and management of ROW and permit acquisition with accelerated deployment schedules.
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Net/Dev on new project opportunities and high-level budgets.
• Receive new projects at the implementation stage with full end-to-end requirements for milestones.
• Drive quality assurance and reporting for project management systems.
• Deliver project outputs to Meta cross-functional teams and complete MPR-related elements.
• Develop fiber acceptance and project closeout packages per Meta standards.
• Interpret OTDR traces and ensure project closeout packages meet requirements.
• Work with finance to develop business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
