STRATA Networks is seeking an Equipment Operator to support capital projects in Roosevelt, UT. This full-time role operates construction equipment, performs excavation and conduit installation, and ensures safe, efficient progress on fiber optic builds.

The ideal candidate holds an active CDL, can interpret construction plans, and demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Willingness to travel and work extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• Active CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to travel and work out of town as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as mini excavators, backhoes, micro-trenchers, vibratory plows and similar machinery.
• Perform manual labor including shoveling and conduit pulling.
• Excavate, trench, backfill, grade, and install conduit and cable.
• Load, unload, and haul equipment and materials per laws and guidelines.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Maintain a safe work site and communicate site conditions to the team.
• Maintain project redlines and equipment records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
